Logline
An unemployed, sexually repressed single mom inherits her parent’s secret swinger’s club and must now manage an eccentric team of employees and club members who help her redefine what it means to be a good mom and rediscover her own carnal desires. (Winner of 2022 AFMXNM Pitch contest goes into production!!)
The Story
Our comedy centers around Anna, a poster child of the “just say no” generation who inherits her parents’ secret swingers club.
Each week Anna balances the needs of her workers and eccentric clientele, with her 8th grade son’s disability and impending puberty all while keeping a local politician, hell-bent on shutting down Blue Oasis, at bay.
Did we mention she has a huge crush on the club caterer?
Mission
Blue Oasis is a new kind of sex positive show introducing mainstream America (with baby steps!) into this titillating world.
While following Anna through this new world audiences discover an unexpected community and family who welcome everyone with open arms and not always enough clothing.
We won’t punch down. While the situations are entertaining, the joke’s aren’t at the expense of the lifestyle or it’s practitioners.
