The Cornerstones of Interviews
Realization
Last week was the realization of many years of work coming to perfection. Kaifilms produced an interview for a high-profile client that will be part of a film. This film is part of an incubator that the HRH the Prince of Wales started before he left the earth. After watching The Crown series on Netflix, I became a fan of him and understood his struggles. My part was tiny in comparison, yet equally important. Here is a link to the website about his project. Give the trailer a watch is really good! https://www.sustainable-markets.org/terra-carta/
The Cornerstone
I have been focusing on producing top-notch interviews, which is the cornerstone of just about any video production that any business needs. I have put forth many efforts in maximizing all the layers required to create an interview that looks good, sounds and hits the marks for its intended purpose. I have fleshed out a camera, sound, and lighting equipment and made kits for each that allow me to produce interviews that compete with my mentors. I will have to say that I felt the pressure was on me to give my best for a project that began with this royal icon. The orchestra was playing in my head as we set up, and it was a thing of beauty.
Help on set!
Since this was a senior-level person I was filming, they had a PR person there to help them deliver their message. Since I had a small crew, I loved having this help. Our shoot started earlier than scheduled and ended well before the time allowed. We even had a chance to do a few takes for safety. After the shoot, I could also make it to a family outing on a dinner cruise around Lake Union, to which I also brought my crew!
